Ramzi Saab, Principal
About Principal Ramzi Saab (West)
It is with great pleasure that I have been a school leader at R.A.W for over a decade. I believe that my leadership abilities and experiences, as well as my team working skills has all made me a viable and successful school leader. Being a principal is more than managing a building; it is inspiring educators to become successful through figuring out goals for their students by collaborating with all stakeholders and identifying the learning difficulties of each student. Adjusting instructions for all types of learners and implementing teaching strategies that are best tailored towards our diverse learners.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Lawrence Technological University. My passion for being an educator motivated me to become a middle school math teacher with Detroit Public Schools and later Farmington Public Schools. I attended George Washington University and completed my graduate classes in project management. I worked with the State of Michigan coordinating programs dealing with providing education and employment opportunities for our community members. Later, I received my Master’s degree in administration from Central Michigan University and I obtained my post graduate degree in K-12 Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University.
I believe that having a school culture and instructional programs that are conducive to student learning and is based on trust among staff is a key to being a successful school leader. I love what I do and will continue to serve our community through providing our children with the best education through teamwork, safety, and goals for all students.
